Killarney to the Ring of Kerry
You came here for an adventure and there's no greater feeling of adventure than coasting alongside a wild Irish landscape off to Rabbie's-knows-where. The Ring of Kerry is famous around the world for a reason and now it's your turn to experience all it has to offer. The Ring of Kerry boasts some of Ireland's most dramatic natural scenery, dotted with prehistoric and early Christian sites, and iconic views around every corner. Leaving Killarney Town, we start our journey along the famous Ring of Kerry, Ireland's famous coastal route. We'll stop for photos along the way where we can - if we had our way, we'd stop every two metres!
Cahergall Stone Forts
Keep some space on your camera for our first stop of the day. The Cahergall Stone Forts are old. Very old. Built back in 600AD kind of old. The fort is a remarkable example of early Irish stone masonry, crafted from dry stone (stone without mortar), its walls over three metres thick. With an interior staircase integrated into the wall, you’ll be able to climb to the top and take in the sweeping views of the surrounding countryside as you literally walk on history. Imagine yourself as the local chieftain taking in their surrounds from the top of their defensive structure, because that was the most likely its use back in the day.
Lunch in Portmagee, Skellig Ring and Derrynane House
Your Irish adventure continues to the tiny fishing village of Portmagee where you have time to explore, grab a bite to eat, or skip straight to Portmagee Whiskey, because some things take priority. And because we pride ourselves on taking you somewhere a little less explored, it's time to coast along the Skellig Ring. This incredible 18km stretch of road is an extension of the Ring of Kerry and often overlooked... we're not sure why. Get ready for wild views of raw beauty, everything that makes Ireland unfathomable. We then head to Derrynane House, a treasure trove of Irish history and natural beauty, where you have time to explore this historic landmark.
Torc Waterfall and return to Killarney
As we start to make our way back towards Killarney, we'll make a few stops along the way. We'll keep it flexible, because who knows what the day will bring. By now your camera might be exhausted... but we can’t miss Torc Waterfall. A 20-metre-high waterfall roaring into existence all the way from the Devil's Punchbowl lake. But it's the mythology surrounding this place we love the most. 'Torc' translates to Boar and there's a legend that involves a local man, a curse, and the Devil. But we don't want to give away all of its secrets now - that's what the tour is for. Worry not that the tour is over, you've got some unforgettable memories as souvenirs.
We're very proud of our tours - but don't just take our word for it. Read our verified Trustpilot reviews below.

Hello curious traveller, are you ready to go beyond with us? Whether you're heading to the Highlands, the Lake District, or further; we know you might have a few questions before setting off on your adventure. Our FAQs are here to help make your journey smooth and stress-free.
The UK and Ireland's historic city centres are full of narrow streets and winding roads. So, to speed up your departure, we only pick up from our central meeting points. What's more is leaving the city using the most direct route also reduces the carbon footprint of our tours.
We don't recommend bringing your car into the centre of our departure cities. It can be hard to find parking, and there are excellent public transportation services.
Arrive 15 minutes before your departure time. Due to waiting restrictions, we can't wait for you if you're late.
Entry requirements vary depending on your nationality, personal circumstances, and the country or countries you will travel to and transit through. It is your responsibility to ensure you have all relevant documentation required for your selected itinerary and that you meet all formal entry requirements before travelling.
You can find up-to-date and reliable information on the official tourism website of the counties you’re visiting, or from their embassy or consulate.
If you're late for your tour, our cancellation policy applies. 100% charges are applicable, and you will not be entitled to a refund or alternative.

It's simple: you book, you go. This means we'll never cancel your tour because of a minimum numbers policy.
Due to logistical reasons, we're unable to let you pre-book a seat on the bus. But our comfortable 16-seat mini-coaches have huge windows. So, you'll always get a good view.
We like to keep our coaches small and nimble. This means we have no on-board toilet facilities, but you frequently stop in local towns and villages for comfort breaks.
We regret we don't carry children under the age of five on our scheduled tours. Also, some of our tours that focus on whisky experiences are suitable for travellers aged 18+.
You can ask us about the tours we recommend for younger children. And if your child is less than 1.35m tall, you should let us know, so we can provide them with a suitable booster seat.
We want you to enjoy every country you visit with us. And we believe the best way to do this is to get you off the mini-coach and out exploring. So, we give you plenty of time to take photos, go walking, and explore ancient ruins.
Accommodation is a key part of your multi-day tour experience. Where accommodation is not included as part of your tour you will have the free option to have us reserve rooms on your behalf (Reserved by Rabbie's) or server your own accommodation with a venue of your choosing (Tour Only).

We exclude visitor attractions in your tour price because it lets you travel your way. It means you can pamper yourself with a luxury lunch or skip an attraction whenever you feel like it.
You don't need to. We stop in small towns, villages, and rural eateries where you can choose whatever meal pleases both your taste buds and your budget.
Let's be honest, our driver-guides would never refuse a cheeky bonus. But it's up to you, and the amount is entirely at your discretion.
We advise you take out travel insurance.
