Accommodation is an important part of your multi‑day tour experience. Whether it’s a cozy place to unwind after a day of adventure, somewhere to freshen up before an evening out, or a space to connect with fellow travellers, we make it a priority to ensure you have a comfortable, well‑located place to stay.
Rabbie’s Travel Accommodation
Which tours require accommodation?
All UK & Ireland multi-day tours involve overnight stays, so accommodation will need to be arranged.
All of our tours of Europe are package tours which includes travel, accommodation and attractions. When booking these tours you will be asked for your room preference only as the cost of accommodation is included in the package price.
Accommodation is not required for day trips.
If you would prefer you can book tours as ‘tour only’ which will leave you free to book your own rooms - whatever works best for you!

Types of Accommodation Available
While there are many types of travel accommodation, we partner exclusively with hotels and B&B's for our multi-day tours in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. We select these trusted providers for their quality, location and character. While we don’t arrange hostels, campsites, or holiday rental properties, you’re welcome to book these yourself.
If you choose the Request & Pay option, you won’t be able to select whether you stay in a hotel or a B&B. But don’t worry - we’ll book a room that meets our high standards from Our Trusted Accommodation partners and send you all the details of where you’ll be staying.
Each type of stay offers its unique charm to suit different preferences, and we curate all options for their quality, comfort, and convenient locations near the tour’s highlights.

European Tours
When you’ve decided to hop on board a multi-day, small-group tour of Europe, accommodation is included in your package. This means you can relax every step of the journey knowing you have a comfortable bed to lay in each evening. Whether you’re exploring Italy’s beaches, or Switzerland’s mountains, there’s an option for all. For our range of European tours, we’ve hand-picked three and four-star hotels in remote coastal villages, bustling towns, and mountain valleys.
The prices on our website are for all your European tour accommodation and for the tour itself. So no worrying about extra accommodation fees once you’re abroad. Simply choose whether you want double rooms, twin rooms, or single rooms. The figure in the final tour price is based on shared accommodation. When you're booking your tour and select a single room, there will be an additional cost added to the price.
Accommodation Accessibility
We endeavour to accommodate all passengers on our multi-day tours as close to local facilities as possible. Hotels tend to be centrally located and B&Bs tend to be in residential areas on the outskirts of towns/villages. In all cases, passengers should be aware that accommodation may be up to a 30-minute walk (approximately 1.4 miles) away from local facilities. However, you may be able to book and pay for local taxis if required.
Lifts and elevators are uncommon in a selection of our accommodation providers but may be available in some hotels. Ground floor rooms are available in many B&Bs and hotels. If either is essential, please let us know at the time of booking your tours. Please also note that passengers will be expected to carry their own luggage to and from their own rooms.
Please let us know about any additional mobility and special requirements (dietary, allergy etc.) at the time of booking, so we can ensure the most appropriate accommodation is allocated to you. Find out how we can help with accessibility on our tours to ensure you’re catered for.
Please be aware that WIFI may not be reliable and cannot be guaranteed in your accommodation. If this is a requirement, please specify at the time of booking.
If you’d rather book your own accommodation, please let us know where you’re staying as soon as possible so we can arrange your transfers.
If you have any further questions regarding accommodation bookings please refer to our FAQs page or contact a member of our team at rooms@rabbies.com.
Tours visiting Islay
Bowmore Cottages
We reserve rooms in the beautiful Bowmore Distillery Cottages. The cottages have between three and six twin bedrooms. Due to the shared nature of the accommodation, individual bedrooms don't have lockable doors.
The kitchen and lounge facilities are shared with other passengers. Breakfast is included in the price of the accommodation and served at the Harbour Inn, located across the street (about a 2-minute walk).
Family Rooms are limited at Bowmore Cottages. Groups of 3 or more may need to stay in 2 or more rooms. For this option, please select 'B&B en-suite' as your first choice when booking the tour online. When these rooms are full, we book you into a nearby B&B.
Rooms at the cottages are limited and are reserved on a first come first served basis. When these are booked, there are local B&B that charge around £50 - 65 per person per night, based on shared accommodation for a standard room (shared bathroom).
We’ll contact you after you complete your tour reservation to collect the payment on behalf of the accommodation provider.
