How long can I explore the Cliffs of Moher for?

We offer tours of the Cliffs of Moher and beyond from 3 to 11 nights. A 3-day tour visiting the Wild Atlantic Way includes time at the cliffs as part of a wider west coast adventure. Go further, and our longer tours take you around the whole of Ireland, with the cliffs as one highlight among many.

Where do your Cliffs of Moher tours depart from?

We currently only offer Cliffs of Moher tours from Dublin, departing from Nassau Street, opposite the Kilkenny Shop. Most tours depart around 8 am, but always check your specific tour page for the exact time. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early, as the mini-coach leaves promptly and can't wait for late arrivals.

How you’ll travel around the Cliffs of Moher

You'll travel in a top-of-the-range 16-seat mini-coach. Smaller than a standard coach, it gets down the roads the big buses can't, follows scenic routes whenever possible, and means your driver-guide can actually stop somewhere interesting on a whim. Large windows help too, meaning you won’t miss any views on the way.

Is accommodation included for overnight tours?

Accommodation isn’t included in the tour price; however, for multi-day tours, we can help you arrange a room. You can select your room and pay in advance as part of your booking, or pay later at your overnight location. Breakfast is included. Find out more on our accommodation options page. What fitness level is required for exploring the Cliffs of Moher?

The clifftop paths involve uneven ground and some gentle inclines. A reasonable level of mobility helps, but you don't need to be particularly fit. We recommend that you wear sturdy shoes and dress for the wind. Check your specific tour details for any additional accessibility information before booking.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

Ireland's west coast weather has a personality of its own. Low clouds and rain are part of the experience, and honestly, the cliffs in a storm are a sight in themselves. Tours go ahead in most weather conditions. Your driver-guide will keep you informed of any changes and make sure you're prepared for whatever the Atlantic decides to throw at you.
