When is Travel Tuesday?
In 2024, Travel Tuesday happens on the 3rd December, which is the first Tuesday following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. If you’ve been waiting to book flights or accommodation for your small-group tours, now is the time to look. And while you’re in the spirit of planning your 2025 vacation, discover our current Black Friday travel deals, because this year, it pays to plan ahead! What is Travel Tuesday?
As a fairly recent holiday in the festive calendar countdown, Travel Tuesday is the biggest saving event within the travel industry. Occuring on the first Tuesday following the Thanksgiving and Cyber weekend (Black Friday and Cyber Monday), customers can expect discounts for flights in particular, but other areas of travel too, including accommodation options, activities and tours.

Originating in America in 2017, Travel Tuesday is often thought of as an American event only, but this is now further from the truth. Growing globally across the travel industry, more companies in other countries including the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Australia and Spain are getting involved to provide discounted prices on their goods and services.
Is Travel Tuesday Only for Flights and Airline Companies?
When Travel Tuesday first started, the offering was primarily focused within the airline industry, helping customers find discounted flights while they were shopping in the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Fast forward 7 years, and this event has changed to include all areas of the travel industry, including travel agents, tour companies, and more. So mark the 3rd December in your calendar if your getting prepared to book new adventures in 2025.
