Highlands Trip Tour Guide Adam Earn Highest Marks

Melissa Pisarski Posted on 20/06/2017

Ill admit: I was a bit apprehensive at first. When we first set off toward the Highlands, we were informed that some of the things we anticipated doing would be unavailable to us. I started to fret that we would not get the full experience, but was quickly reassured by how calm and affable our tour guide, Adam, remained throughout the whole thing. Adam was flexible and accommodating all along our route, making sure we had plenty of things to do, views to see, and stories to hear. He had back-up plans and alternative activities at each stop to best serve everyone in our group. The 16 of us that were all in the van for the trip became very close with each other over the weekend, exploring together and sharing the photos we had taken. From Highland cows, to the Loch Ness monster, we were fortunate to see so many natural wonders and to hear about the history that shaped the lands we traversed. We could not have possibly asked for a better weekend in the Highlands, nor could we have ever expected having a tour guide as capable and charismatic as Adam. I think we all agreed that once we had gotten off the bus upon returning to Edinburgh, we wanted to hop right back on and go again!

Great experience in the highlands with Gillian

Hysan Posted on 04/06/2017

We were on a two-day tour to the highlands, Inverness and Loch Ness and we had a great time. As city folks coming all the way from tropical Hong Kong, this trip is truly an eye opener. Gillian was knowledgeable and friendly (and is a whisky fan too!) She shared with us the history, culture, stories, folk music local to the Scotsand. On both days we made several stops along the way that were previously unplanned for photos, see the hairy coo, step on bouncy peat ground etc. I felt like I had made the most out of the trip.

Our 2 day tour with Liam and Jodie

Gal, Irit and Abi Posted on 27/10/2016

This trip was definitely the highlight of our time is Scotland this year! We got an extra stop in Culloden - we really wanted to visit there and it was not a planned stop in that tour. Liam and Jodie were kind, professional, and very pleasent. Whenever we come again we want to travel only with them! P.S - Loved the place we stayed for the night in Inverness - the Dalmore guest house. Comfiest beds weve ever slept in!

i travelled with my wife on the 20th and 21st. it was a fantastic experience especially because of our driver/guide dave. He is extremely knowledgable and witty and was really keen on showing us the different sites. also full credit to rabbies to have a tour for just 4 people (we were accompanied by a lovely italian couple) inspite of taking us in a 16 seater

Fantastic Tour

Simply had to write in to convey how memorable our 2 day tour on 16 and 17 April was. Our tour guide was amazing. His repertoire of information would put any academic to shame. He kept us enthralled throughout the 2 days, never a dull moment. He even sang for us, and pretty impressive singing it was. All in all a trip we would never forget mainly due to the pretty sights and the extra efforts of our tour guide....Kudos to him and your organisation. PS. He does resemble Gerard Butler !!! See pics of him with my wife and friend

Amazing 2 day tour of Lochness and Inverness

Mohsin (Murad RM) Posted on 21/03/2016

I did the two day Lochness and Inverness tour with Rabbies. Our tour guide was Arron (the wee man), he was exceptionally good. He was really funny and kept us entertained. Loved the stories he told us along the way. Learned a lot about the Scottish history along the way. He also played a great selection of music. On the first day we had the perfect sunny weather as we drove towards Inverness, second day we had the gray sky with a lot of snow fall as well, it still was amazing.. The boat trip through Lochness, then to Glencoe!! It was just perfect.. Without feeling rushed there were many stops along the way for pictures. All in all a really good trip with some amazing memories, big thanks to Arron. Between both days the only thing that could have been better was the hostel selection, which was Inverness Student Hotel. If I knew beforehand I would have requested a different accommodation. Arron also informed us all the things Rabbis doing to protect the environment such as self-imposed carbon tax, plating trees. If I am ever is Scotland again, I will definitely book another tour with Rabbies.
