Why would I want to create my own tour?

Our scheduled trips leave on set dates and are available to anyone. Whereas a private tour is exclusive for you and your chosen group. It’s perfect if you’re wanting to go when we have fewer tours running throughout autumn and winter.

Where can I go?

You can go anywhere in the UK, Ireland, and Europe. If you need inspiration, browse our private tours of Scotland, England or Ireland for inspiration, then tell us how you'd like to join them up. From visiting the birthplace of William Shakespeare on a tour of England to clinking glasses together in a traditional pub when exploring Ireland, the possibilities are endless on a bespoke trip.

What's the accommodation like?

You can stay in castles, country houses, budget hotels, B&Bs... anywhere you like. Imagine waking up in one of the best Scottish castles and living out your royal dream or maybe a cosy log fire cabin in the snow capped mountains of Switzerland is more of your vibe? We’re friends with a lot of the local travel accommodation providers, so we’re happy to help you find the most memorable places to stay.

What size groups can you cater for? 

Private tours work for groups of 2 to 16 people as standard, using our own 16 seat mini-coaches. If your group's bigger than that, societies, work teams and larger reunions included, we can hire in a larger vehicle so everyone travels together.

Do you arrange private tours for societies, universities or corporate groups?

Yes. We've planned private tours for university societies, workplaces, clubs and corporate groups, alongside families and friends. Tell us who's coming and what you're celebrating, marking, or simply escaping from, and we'll take it from there.

Any private tour that we create for you that constitute a ‘package’ for the purposes of the 1992 EU Regulations, payments made by you will be protected by our membership of ABTOT. Full terms and conditions can be found here.

'The best part was the private tour guide through the Highlands and Isle of Skye. He was amazing catering to our needs based on our group. Very personable and became part of the family.
