Your story begins...

Mother Nature was generous with Mull. Piercing mountains and stunning lochs, Mull is a rugged masterpiece of nature. The quaint, colourful harbour town of Tobermory alone is worth the trip, but we take you further, to the tiny outlying islands of Iona and Staffa, habitat for the rare Puffins. Fingal's Cave's geology is a wild reflection of Ireland's Giant's Causeway, and the whole area is dotted with remnants of towns and churches from the Early Middle Ages.

Morning

Glasgow to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park

Leaving the bustle of Glasgow behind, we head towards Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The flat terrain of the Lowlands soon gives way to rugged peaks, forested glens, and the vast, shimmering expanse of Loch Lomond. Framed by majestic mountains and dotted with over 30 islands, this iconic loch has inspired poets and songwriters for centuries. Our first stop is the conservation village of Luss, where you can take in the quaint houses and stunning views across the loch. Be sure to look out for the towering peak of Ben Lomond.

Mid Morning

Journey through the Highlands to Glencoe

Continuing north, we traverse the vast, open landscapes of Rannoch Moor before reaching Glencoe, one of Scotland's most iconic natural landmarks. Known for its dramatic, rugged slopes, this beautiful area has been featured in films and has many stories to tell. During your stop here, your driver-guide may even share the tragic tale that has haunted this valley for over 300 years. You'll have time for photo stops here before lunch in the local area.

Afternoon

Journey to the ferry to the Isle of Mull

After a relaxing lunch, we head west to catch a ferry across Loch Linnhe. We then wind our way through the towering mountains of Morvern before reaching Lochaline, where we catch another ferry to the Hebridean island of Mull. We arrive in Fishnish and start our journey towards Tobermory. As we travel, you'll soon see why Mull is considered a magical destination, with its rugged coastlines, lush forests, and dramatic mountains rising alongside tranquil lochs.

Early Evening

Free evening in Tobermory, Isle of Mull

We arrive in Tobermory, the island's vibrant capital, for a two-night stay. With its brightly coloured houses, Tobermory, meaning ‘Well of Mary,' is often described as one of the most picturesque harbour towns in Scotland.
