Morning

Dublin to Rock of Cashel

Departing Dublin, you travel south-west through Ireland’s lush countryside, passing rolling green fields and quaint villages, Your first stop of the day is Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary.

Mid Morning

Rock of Cashel

Perched on an outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale sits the Rock of Cashel, one of the most significant historical sites in the country. You'll find yourself standing in awe, unable to have imagined a place that holds so much mystery and magic. The surviving buildings hold many wonders including the only surviving Romanesque frescoes in Ireland. You'll explore the monuments to be found here, a round tower, a high cross, a Romanesque chapel, a Gothic cathedral, an abbey, and a fifteenth-century Tower House.

Next, you travel to Midleton Whiskey Distillery, also once known as Jameson.

Afternoon

Midleton (Jameson) Whiskey Distillery and Blarney Castle

At Midleton Distillery Experience, tour the site, uncover its rich history, and enjoy a dram on the signature tour. Remember to pick up a bottle to share back home. If whiskey isn’t your thing, take a short walk to the Choctaw Native American Monument in Bailic Park. Next, arrive in Blarney, home to the 600-year-old Blarney Castle. Nestled in lush green gardens, the castle feels like from a fairy tale, complete with chilling dungeons to explore. Climb to the battlements for breathtaking views and a taste of medieval history. The real draw here is the Blarney Stone—kiss it to receive the legendary "Gift of the Gab." Hollywood stars and world leaders have done it—will you?
