Leaving the hustle of Glasgow behind, we head into the Renfrewshire Hills, where you'll have the opportunity to admire Whitelee Windfarm, the largest in the UK.

Mid Morning

Whitelee Farm to Culzean Country Park, Ayrshire

Take in the vast, open views of the hills and the turbines that generate clean energy for over 180,000 homes to gain a sense of the scale and innovation behind this sustainable energy project. From here, we take the road south through rich farmlands into Ayrshire. Then, it's Culzean Castle and Country Park that offers a stunning blend of natural beauty and history.

Afternoon

Culzean Castle and Country Park, Dunure and Alloway

With sweeping landscapes, tranquil woodlands, and stunning clifftop views, Culzean is the perfect place to reconnect with nature. Enjoy lunch, explore winding trails, or visit the grand castle, which opulent interiors and rich history offer a glimpse into a bygone era. Next, we stop at Dunure, where a cliffside ruined castle holds dark secrets from the past. Then, we continue to Alloway, the birthplace of Scotland's beloved poet, Robert Burns. Visit the interactive visitor centre to learn how he created the world-famous Auld Lang Syne, take a riverside walk, or explore the ruins of an old church that inspired one of his most famous poems.

Return journey to Glasgow

After exploring Alloway, birthplace of Scotland's beloved poet Robert Burns, we begin our journey back to Glasgow. As we leave the Ayrshire countryside behind, the rolling farmlands give way to the urban energy of the city. You'll arrive in Glasgow in the early evening, bringing your day of cultural discovery and breathtaking scenery to a close.


You return to Glasgow at approximately 6pm.
