Buchanan Bus Station


Buchanan Bus Station is centrally located and easy to reach on foot:

  • From Glasgow Queen Street Station: Exit onto George Square, walk north along Queen Street, then continue onto Buchanan Street. Follow this main shopping street uphill for about 5–10 minutes until you reach the bus station at the northern end.
  • From Glasgow Central Station: Walk towards Buchanan Street (about 10 minutes), then head north along it until you reach the bus station.
  • From Buchanan Street (main shopping area): Simply walk to the very top (north end) of the street—the bus station is next to Buchanan Galleries shopping centre.

Once inside Buchanan Bus Station, make your way to Stances 23–32. Your bus will depart from one of these, and the exact stance number will be confirmed in your booking email.
