You can book a Rabbie’s tour online on our website.
Our website shows up-to-date availability and pricing. Once you've chosen a tour, select a departure date to view a live calendar showing all available dates and prices. Alternatively, you can use the tour search to filter all tours by date, departure point and more. We operate tours all year round, with fewer routes and departures during the winter months.
For our scheduled tours, full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your seat. We do not currently offer a deposit or instalment payment option.
Tours can sell out quickly, so it’s always best to book as soon as possible. If seats are still available. We accept reservations up to the day of departure on most of our tours.
You can book our scheduled tours for up to 12 people. If members of your group book separately, let us know in advance and we'll do our best to ensure you’re travelling on the same coach.
For groups of more than 12 people, we recommend looking at our private tours, which offer more flexibility and can be tailored to your group’s needs.
Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive a confirmation email with your booking details, departure information and everything you need to prepare for your tour. You should receive this within an hour of booking. If you haven’t received it please check your spam or junk folder and then contact us.
If you’ve requested tour accommodation, you’ll receive the accommodation details by email shortly before departure.
We’ll never cancel your tour because of minimum numbers. At times, we may need to cancel due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances which are out of our control, or which might jeopardise your safety. Please refer to our terms and conditions.
You can transfer to another tour if there is availability, as long as the request to do so is outside the tour cancellation period. You must inform us by email. We won't charge a fee for this, but you will pay for any difference in price where the cost of the new tour is higher. Please note that any changes may affect your accommodation choices.
One day tours can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. Cancellation fees will apply to all other tour cancellations. The amount charged depends on the tour, when you cancel, and any additional services or inclusions you've booked. Please see our terms and conditions for details.
To cancel your booking, contact us as soon as possible. The effective date of cancellation will be the date we receive written confirmation from you.
It depends on where you're travelling.
On UK and Ireland tours, accommodation isn't usually included in your tour price, giving you the flexibility to choose what suits you best. Depending on your tour and subject to availability, you can:
Ask us to reserve your accommodation and pay the property directly.
Book and pay for your accommodation as part of your tour booking.
Arrange your own accommodation (within 2km of the overnight town centre so your driver-guide can keep the tour running smoothly).
On Europe tours (Italy & Switzerland), accommodation is included in your tour price. We carefully select three- and four-star hotels, and you can choose a double, twin, or single room when you book (single rooms are available for a supplement).

Entry fees are not usually included in the tour price, although some are included on selected tours. You can check what’s included in the inclusions and exclusions listed on the tour details.
Some attractions can separately be added as optional extras during checkout and any others can be purchased on the day, subject to availability.

They're passionate local experts, storytellers, and travel companions who bring every destination to life with fascinating history, local legends, personal recommendations, and a few surprises along the way. They know that the best journeys go beyond the guidebooks, so they'll help you discover hidden gems as well as iconic sights, while giving you plenty of time to explore at your own pace. This depends on your country of citizenship and where you’re visiting. You can find up-to-date and reliable information on the official tourism website of the counties you’re visiting, or from their embassy or consulate.
Remember, your tour may travel through multiple countries. Check your itinerary carefully and make sure you have any documentation required for each country. This may include authorisations for both visiting and transiting through a country (e.g. an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) for the UK and Northern Ireland). You may also need a multiple-entry visa if you’re entering a country more than once.
To find out whether you need a visa or other travel authorisation to travel within the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) visit gov.uk/check-uk-visa. To determine whether you need a visa to visit the Republic of Ireland, visit ireland.ie . And to find out about visas to Europe, visit europa.eu.
Visa applications take time, so organise this ahead of your departure date. Don’t forget to double-check your passport’s expiry date as well.
Passports, visas and other documents aren’t usually checked when crossing between countries within the United Kingdom and Europe. However, it’s your responsibility to make sure you do have all the required documentation and permissions to cross borders, transit through, and visit each country on your itinerary.
We always recommend obtaining travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling abroad. Travel insurance gives you protection if unexpected events affect your trip before or during your tour.
Each passenger may bring one cabin style bag no larger than 22in x 17in x 10in (maximum weight 20kg/44lbs), plus one additional small handbag for personal items, which can be taken on the mini-coach with you. Space on our mini-coaches is limited, so luggage allowances help ensure everyone can travel comfortably while leaving room for all passengers' belongings.
Please ensure you can lift and carry your own luggage without assistance.

We're unable to accommodate luggage that exceeds our stated size or weight limits. If your luggage is too large or heavy, you'll need to store the excess baggage before departure. Passengers travelling with excess luggage won't be permitted to join the tour.
We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, a waterproof jacket and suitable footwear for time spent off the coach. We will make stops for refreshments, but it’s a good idea to bring bottled water with you as this is not provided. We recommend carrying a small amount of cash, as some smaller businesses and public toilets may not accept card payments. Most places do accept cards, and you'll usually find ATMs in larger towns and villages if you need to withdraw more money during your trip.
In the UK (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland), the Pound Sterling is the currency. The Republic of Ireland and Italy accept Euros. Switzerland uses the Swiss Franc.
We have various departure points across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. Explore our departure points or check the itinerary of your chosen tour.
Departure times vary by tour, so please make sure to check your specific tour itinerary. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before departure so you have time to meet your driver-guide, store your luggage, and settle into your seat before setting off. Due to waiting restrictions, our tours can’t wait for you if you’re late.
We don’t recommend bringing a car to your departure point. Trust us, it’s usually harder to find parking spaces than just hopping on a bus.
Tours depart promptly and we're unable to delay departure if you're running late. We recommend allowing plenty of time and planning to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure.
If you miss a one-day tour, it will be treated as a cancellation, and no refund will be available. If seats are available on alternative tours, we may be able to offer these at our discretion.
If you miss the departure of an overnight tour, we will usually recommend that you travel independently to the overnight destination to join the tour on day 2.
We only pick up from the departure point stated on your confirmation email. This helps us leave the city more quickly and maximises the time available for sightseeing.
You’ll find an approximate return time noted in the tour itinerary. While we always aim to keep to the scheduled timings, we can’t guarantee an exact return time as factors such as traffic, weather and unexpected delays can be beyond our control. Please bear this in mind when making onward travel plans.
Our mini-coaches carry a maximum of 16 passengers, allowing you to visit places larger coaches can't reach while giving you more time to explore.
Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on the day, giving everyone the same opportunity to choose where they sit.
Unfortunately, we have no on-board toilet facilities, but your driver-guide will stop regularly for comfort breaks. It’s a good idea to bring some cash with you as some public toilets do charge.
Hot drinks can be taken onto the mini-coaches as long as they’re secured with a lid. Drink bottles are also allowed. Cold food can be taken onto the bus, but always check the rules for eating on board with your driver.
We don't provide WiFi on our mini-coaches, giving you the chance to switch off and enjoy some of Europe's most spectacular scenery. But don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of opportunities for you to get your updates when you get to your hotel.
As our mini-coaches vary, charging points can't be guaranteed. We recommend arriving with your devices fully charged so you're ready to capture every moment.
Absolutely. Many of our travelers choose to explore with us on their own. Our small-group tours are a great way to meet like-minded people while still giving you the freedom to enjoy the experience at your own pace. Whether you join others for dinner or spend your free time exploring independently, the choice is always yours.
Where children are permitted, they must be at least 5 years old at the time of travel (we don’t allow children under 5 on any tours). This is because of the long travel days and the comfort of everyone travelling. A separate seat must be booked for every passenger, including children.
Some tours may have higher minimum age requirements depending on content or location (e.g. alcohol-focused experiences). Please note that the age limit for our Europe tours in Switzerland and Italy is 18+.
All under-18s must travel with a responsible person aged 18 or over.
Child seats can be provided with prior notice. If your child is under 1.35m tall, please let us know in advance so we can provide them with a suitable booster seat.
Only children (between five and 15 years old) receive a concession price. There are no discounts for seniors or other concessions.
Unfortunately, we can't accommodate pets on our scheduled tours to ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers. If you're travelling with a registered assistance dog, please contact us before booking so we can discuss your requirements and make the necessary arrangements where possible.
We're committed to making travel as accessible as possible and welcoming guests of all abilities. We recommend reviewing our accessibility statement before booking, to understand what to expect.
If you have a disability, health condition or other accessibility requirement, please let us know and we’ll be happy to discuss your needs and, where possible, make reasonable adjustments to support your travel experience.
Our tours don’t include strenuous activities unless specifically mentioned, but there will usually be some walking required to access and visit key sites and destinations. For your comfort, we recommend that you’re able to comfortably walk up to 1 mile at a time on varied terrain, which may include hills, stairs, cobblestones and uneven surfaces.
Unfortunately, our coaches are not wheelchair accessible. However, we may be able to carry lightweight, foldable wheelchairs or mobility aids in the luggage hold, if space is available.
When booking, please tell us the weight (maximum 20kg) and folded dimensions of your mobility aid so we can check whether we can store it safely. Electric mobility aids must have removable batteries, which must be removed before storage.
All of our tours are conducted in clear, spoken English.
Yes, you can hear your driver-guide loud and clear from anywhere on the bus.
No two days are exactly the same, but every Rabbie's tour is designed to strike a balance between scenic drives, fascinating stories, and time to explore. Along the way, your driver-guide will share the history, culture and local legends behind the places you visit, while making regular stops for photos, independent sightseeing, comfort breaks and refreshments.
The amount of time off the coach varies by itinerary. Some tours cover larger distances and include fewer or shorter stops, while others allow more time to explore at your own pace. We always aim to maximise time off the coach, balancing shorter comfort and photo stops with longer opportunities to explore. Customers looking for a more relaxed pace may prefer shorter routes or multi-day tours. Your driver-guide will let you know how much time is available at each stop.
You don’t have to participate in all the activities or pay to enter all the sites visited on your tour. This means if you want to skip a castle and read your book by a mountain view, you can.
Dining options vary depending on the locations you are visiting. If you are interested in having a sit-down meal in the evenings, we would highly recommend you book a table in advance.
We’ll always stop somewhere you can buy lunch during the day, but you might want to think about bringing a packed lunch to help you make the most of your free time at stops and attractions. If you have specific dietary requirements, you may prefer to bring your own food, as options can be more limited in some areas.
Yes. Our tours operate in most weather conditions, so we recommend packing suitable clothing and waterproof footwear. The weather can change quickly, especially in places like Scotland, but that's all part of the experience. If severe weather or other unavoidable circumstances affect your tour, your driver-guide may adapt the itinerary where it's safe and practical to do so. On the rare occasion that a tour has to be cancelled for safety reasons, we'll contact you as soon as possible.
There’s unfortunately no guarantee you’ll see Highland Cows because they get moved around fields to new grazing grounds, so it’s hard to predict where the free-roaming ones will be on any given day.
Your best chance of seeing them is in the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands and Isle of Skye. They can sometimes be seen around Loch Lubnaig, the Isle of Mull, Applecross, Plockton, Loch Ness, and Loch Lomond. Photo opportunities can be limited as often there’s no parking spot next to them.
Tips are not expected and are always at your discretion. If you're happy with the service you received, tips are always appreciated. If you plan on tipping, please bring cash to give directly to your driver-guide.
If you think you've left something behind, please contact us as soon as possible with details of the item and your booking reference so we can identify the correct coach. If we find it, we'll contact you to arrange collection or postage (fees may apply). Please note that we can only keep lost property for a limited time and any perishable items may be disposed of immediately.
