Morning

Edinburgh to Roslin

We leave Edinburgh and head towards a hidden gem beyond the city's hustle and bustle. Your driver-guide will take you to Roslin, a picturesque village in Midlothian surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Mid Morning

Roslin, Midlothian

Nestled in the serene village of Roslin is the famous Rosslyn Chapel, made famous by Dan Brown's book, The Da Vinci Code. With its intricate stone carvings and stunning stained glass, this 15th-century chapel captivates all who visit. From pagan symbols to legends of the Knights Templar and the Holy Grail, the chapel sparks the imagination of everyone who walks through its doors. You can explore the chapel to uncover its mysteries or wander through the lush woodlands of nearby Rosslyn Glen.

Afternoon

Melrose for lunch, Scottish Borders, and back to Edinburgh

Next, we explore the scenic Scottish Borders, following the Tweed Valley, surrounded by rolling hills, ancient abbeys, and quaint villages. While the area may seem tranquil today, it has a rich history marked by conflicts and skirmishes

We stop for lunch in Melrose, where you can visit the 12th-century Melrose Abbey, linked to the Knights Templar and rumored to hold Robert the Bruce's heart, brought back from the Crusades. * Due to some works, a visit may be not possible.

Afterward, we'll explore the region, see the statue of Scottish patriot William Wallace, and visit Scott's View, a stunning landscape that inspired Sir Walter Scott, before returning to Edinburgh.

You return to Edinburgh at approximately 5.00pm.
