Mini Coach & Jacobite Steam Train
Imagine yourself aboard the Jacobite Steam Train, the real‑life Hogwarts Express, gliding through wild Scottish scenery where glens, lochs, and soaring viaducts feel lifted from a Harry Potter film. But the magic doesn’t end there. You get off the beaten track with a driver-guide to pristine snow-white beaches, moody mountains, and a remote fishing village that feels like the edge of the world. This is a journey through the Scottish Highlands like no other - one that will leave you utterly spellbound.

Feel the magic come alive at the world-famous railway bridge featured in the Harry Potter films.

With its white sand and water shimmering in tropical blue, this beach feels more like the Caribbean than Scotland.

These misty waters and towering mountains look straight out of a storybook and appeared in a Harry Potter film.

Step back in time to a bygone era on board one of the world’s most famous heritage trains, the real-life Hogwarts Express.

Be moved by the sheer beauty and tragic tales of one of Scotland’s most famous landscapes.

Fishing boats and salt‑tinged air set the tone in this scenic village, welcoming visitors with timeless Highland charm.
Get ready for two days of rugged landscapes, a thrilling steam train ride, and a touch of movie magic.

Journey to Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park
Leaving Glasgow behind, we head north and watch the landscape transform as we cross the Highland Boundary Line. The rolling Lowlands gradually give way to the rugged, forested glens of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.
We’ll pause for a wee break, giving you time to stretch your legs and capture photographs of Loch Lomond before continuing our journey. From here, Highland roads wind through the steep‑sided mountains of the Arrochar Alps and lead us to the iconic viewpoint at the Rest and Be Thankful mountain pass.
Journey to Oban
Next, you continue west towards the charming harbour town of Oban, known as the “Gateway to the Isles” and famed for its fresh seafood. As you arrive, the sweep of the bay and the Victorian waterfront set the scene for a relaxed break.
Lunch in Oban, Glencoe & Glenfinnan
Enjoy free time in Oban to stroll along the promenade and soak up the atmosphere. Then pick a place for lunch – seafood would be our favourite.
Next, head to Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes, where dramatic mountains and wide valleys are steeped in history. Pause to take in the view – the glen even featured in scenes around Hagrid’s hut.
Glenfinnan, a stunning glen overlooking Loch Shiel, is your next stop. Here you’ll find the iconic Monument and the Viaduct, beloved by Harry Potter fans. Reflect on the Jacobite history, admire the graceful viaduct and imagine the Hogwarts Express passing by, or enjoy the views of the loch featured in The Prisoner of Azkaban.
Free evening in Mallaig
Back on the mini-coach, you’ll travel through gentle valleys, open moorland, and past dark, mysterious lochs. Keep your eyes peeled - you may even spot Dumbledore’s grave island as we drive along the shores of Loch Eilt.
Your base for the night is the charming fishing village of Mallaig, which you can explore at your leisure. Enjoy a peaceful walk around the harbour with views of Skye, savour fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants, or relax with a dram in a cosy pub while soaking up the village atmosphere.
