Siena: A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Italy’s finest medieval cities. Your 2-hour guided walking tour takes you through the red-brick streets, around the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, and into the stories of a city shaped by centuries of rivalry, trade, and the famous Palio horse race.
San Gimignano: Another UNESCO-listed medieval town, famous for its 14 surviving towers, the last remnant of the 72 that once competed for the skyline.

Our current Tuscany day tour from Florence takes you to explore the region's treasures, including Siena and the Chianti Region. You depart from Piazzale Montelungo, 50129 Florence at 8.30am and return to Florence in the early evening.

Where do I meet my driver-guide in Florence?

You’ll meet your driver-guide and mini-coach at Piazzale Montelungo, 50129 Florence. Pick-up is at 8.30am. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before departure, as we leave on time and cannot wait for late arrivals.

Is a Tuscany day tour from Florence good for wine lovers?

Yes, but our tour does not include a scheduled winery visit or wine tasting as a set activity. What it does include is a full journey through the Chianti Classico wine zone, the appellation that has been producing wine between Florence and Siena for over 300 years.

You travel through the vineyards, stop in Castellina in Chianti in the heart of the wine country, and pass through a landscape shaped by winemaking for centuries. The black rooster on every bottle of Chianti Classico has been the region’s symbol since the 13th century.

If you want to pair the tour with a tasting, Castellina in Chianti has enotecas where you can sample local Chianti Classico during the free-time stop. Your driver-guide can point you in the right direction.
