A one day tour to take in the highlights of the ancient Roman settlement of Bath, an active spa for the last two millennia , the village of Lacock that has featured in many well-known movies and television shows and the Neolithic stone circle of Avebury, before returning to London in the early evening. This tour is a perfect introduction to one of the most beautiful cities in England, the surrounding villages and the magical standing stones at Avebury.

Our tour takes us west out of London and into the county of Wiltshire. Our first stop is in the ancient Roman Spa town of Bath. With time to explore the city, Abbey and Baths you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere and glorious Georgian architecture of the city before travelling to the historic Cotswolds village of Lacock in the heart of rural Wiltshire, maintained by the National Trust and largely unchanged since the 13th century. The village and Abbey have been used as film locations for many well-known movies and television shows. Our final stop of the day is at the Neolithic stone circle of Avebury, a magical place whose stones have stood for over 4,500 years, before returning to London in the early evening.
All our London departures leave from Stance 3, Greenline Coach Terminal, Bulleid Way, Victoria, SW1W 9SH.

We like to give you plenty of opportunities to go on nature walks, so we recommend you bring suitable clothing and footwear for your tour. Scotland can be a wet place!! Unless otherwise notified passengers are restricted to one medium sized suitcase/bag (maximum 15 kilos) and one carry-on bag per person.

This city has been inhabited for almost 2000 years and here you’ll have time to explore the city, Abbey and Roman Baths and immerse yourself in the atmosphere and glorious Georgian architecture of this majestic city.
Following lunch we travel deeper into rural Wiltshire to Lacock village, famous for its picturesque streets, historic buildings and its more recent role as a television and film location. The Abbey, located at the heart of the village within its own woodland grounds, is a quirky country house of various architectural styles. Our final stop of the day is at the pretty village of Avebury. Here we will be able to wander amidst the largest stone circle in the world - part of a World Heritage Site, a magical place whose stones have stood for over 4,500 years, before returning to London in the early evening.
