David's stories and general knowledge was wonderful. He told not only of historical figures, but also interesting trivia and more current events, too. The overall atmosphere of the experience was friendly and accomodating.

Michael was extremely knowledgeable and not to theatrical. Was more of a historian tour and we loved it. My daughter is an environmental attorney in the US and appreciated all of the additional information.

It's always nice, after having visited an external site, to enter the warm bus and continue to listen to te historical and cultural information given by the guide.

I think Mike made the day. His amazing knowledge of history of the locations, enroute and the destinations was fantastic and really brought everything to life.

The ornate carvings at Rosslyn Chapel will live long in the memory, as will Jonathan's erudite, colourful, witty, and at times poetic commentary.

I really enjoyed the destinations but the commentary from Gus was really the best part. I could have rented a car and seen everything but I would not have gotten the history of what we were seeing or even the factoids about Scotland that Gus gave us. He did a great job and made the tour wonderful.

This tour was awesome and once again loved it. Eddie was a great tour guide and the places we saw were just unreal! I would suggest this to anyone and I would even do it again next time I am in Scotland!

Ally was friendly and provided quite a bit of information, which was good. It made it a very easy going tour, and the fact that it was a small group helped.

Our guide (Audrey) knew a lot and made the tour besides interesting and beautiful also good fun.

We most enjoyed the friendly conversations with the driver guide while experiencing the landscape en route and the destination sites themselves. This was in addition to enjoyment of the guide's ample knowledge and lively presentation of Scottish history.

Eddie was a real hoot. There were only 3 of us in the tour & ha made it feel like a family trip. He was very informative like the other drivers that I had on the other tours.

I never really contribute my opinion to these types of things but my experience was so memorable thanks to our amazing tour guide and I had to come on here and give her some credit. I was on a 2 week trip across the UK and spent 3 days in Scotland with my boyfriend and we loved our tour guide for the Scottish Borders Tour. She told us the Story of Mary Queen of Scotts and the Drive and played Scottish music on the bus. I had been on many tours during this trip and hers was the one that stands out by far. She even told me where I could find the cd she played on the bus! I bought 2 of them. We loved Sarah! And Scotland!

We enjoyed being able to spend sufficient time at the Melrose Abbey and Roslyn Chapel on our own and with audioguides. Mike was very helpful in giving us suggestions on cafes and shops to buy things in as well as providng historical background on the sites we visited.

The guide was excellent - friendly and very knowledgeable. He took us over to the castle at Rosslyn even though it was his free time and was very enthusiastic showing us everything. We felt that he really went the extra mile and made the trip more enjoyable. The driver and people behind the desk at Rabbies were also very good, efficient and friendly.

Rabbie's keeps their word, if you book you go. I booked this tour and was the only passenger. I had to go as I was leaving the next day. I had my own personal tour. Richard, I don't know how you know and remember all that you do, but I learned so much on this tour and my tour on Monday. I loved Melrose and Rosslyn, this was my favourite tour. You are fantastic! and I enjoyed listening to your stories and all the information you imparted. I would love to come back on day and take a tour of the islands. Thank you all so much for making this special holiday a dream come true (my 23 year old daughter saved for the last three years to send me on this trip for my 50th birthday). I will have special memories and joy as I think on all that I did, for the rest of my life. Heidi ps will upload pictures once I get them organized.

The guide was very friendly and easy to get along with plus he told us things we couldn't have gotten of the internet or books.

Big thank you to Bob, for a great day at Rosslyn Chapel and the Borders. The whole trip was a wonderful day out (in spite of the slightly dodgy weather), and Bob was professional, fun and informative. Would definintely recommend this trip, and Rabbies ... and Bob, of course. Thank you!

We were extremely satisfied with the way how our guide was talking about the spirit of Scotland, mixed history and fun. We went to see amazing places and the short stop at Temple was lovely. I liked the Scottish accent of our guide and the music as well.

Had an absolutely fantastic day with our guide Helen. Helen was informative, very funny and gave us some insight into her passion for the border districts. We feel very priviledged to have been on this tour and loved the banter and playfulness! So good, Rabbies is lucky to have you! Hope you enjoy your fried haggis and a few scotches tonight! Love ya guts Dave

We had a wonderful day tour with our amazing guide Andrea (Andi). We could not have asked for a better start to our vacation than a day spent traveling to and exploring Roslyn Chapel. Andi's extensive knowledge and bubbling personality made for a great day. After we listened to the guide at Roslyn Chapel my daughter leaned over and whispered "Andi would have done a better job". Andi - we'll never look at rain the same way again! Thanks!!!

i was a bit disapointed with this tour, couldv left melrose abby out or mayb just a quick visit to point out robert the bruce's heart/stone as thats all we knew about that place and then we couldv had longer at rosslyn chapel as i felt really rushed and didnt get to enjoy the experience for long enough and i think they should advertise that theres alot of work going on there as this spoilt it abit for me, scafolding everywhere...... and althou i didnt mind paying to go in, i think we shouldv had a small dicount because of all the works going on.. and i wouldnt recomend paying to go in2 melrose, just look over the wall and you can see most things.....

I was the only person on the tour, but was informed of this ahead of time. Since Rabbies guarantees that you go no matter what, I decided to go anyway, and had a really nice private tour!

Our driver was very knowledgeable, had interesting & funny stories. Enjoyed our lunch. Melrose Abbey & Rosslyn Chapel were beautiful. Some of the most beautiful pictures we got were in the lowlands.

The weather, which was perfect. The weather made it possible to walk around the Abbey and Rosslyn compound. Our tour guide had a delightful sense of humor and was personable. He was knowledgeable of Scottish history and incorporated stories of interest regarding countryside. Very enjoyable.

Karen, our tour guide/driven, was passionate about the information she shared with us. I was proud to be in Scotland when listening to Karen.
