Tag 1 Die Reise beginnt mit einem Besuch des malerischen Marktstädtchens Stratford on Avon, der Geburtsort von William Shakespeare. Hier ist auch seine Grabstätte und das strohbedeckte Cottage seiner Frau, Anne Hathaway. Nach dem Mittagessen in Stratford haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die atemberaubende Schlucht und das Weltkulturerbe Ironbridge am Fluss Severn zu erkunden. Wir übernachten dann für 2 Nächte in der schönen mittelalterlichen / römischen Stadt Chester.
Tag 2 Heute ist ein Tag von Kontrasten, Sie können den Morgen in Chester so gestalten wie Sie möchten. Spazieren Sie entlang der mittelalterlichen Mauern und besuchen Sie die Kathedrale. In Chester haben Sie Geschichte zum Anfassen. Am späten Vormittag fahren wir in Richtung Westen zu einem Besuch der Burg Conwy und zum Mittagessen. Am Nachmittag erkunden wir den wilden Bergen von Snowdonia im schönsten Nationalpark Park in Wales.
Tag 3 führt Sie durch die Hügellandschaft des Peak District und der viktorianischen Kurstadt Buxton, bevor wir das beliebte britische Landgut Chatsworth besuchen. Das Haus ist im Besitz des Herzog von Devonshire und ist berühmt für seine Architektur und die Gärten. Ihre Rückkehr nach London führt Sie durch Land, in dem Robin Hood sein Unwesen trieb.

Day 1
Depart from London and make your way to William Shakespeare’s birthplace Stratford on Avon, home to the Tudor thatched cottage and gardens of his wife, Anne Hathaway. You will have time to explore the magnificent village of Stratford and enjoy lunch, before continuing to the World Heritage site of Ironbridge. Set in a stunning forested gorge on the river Severn this historic valley boast the world’s first ever iron bridge and a host of attractions to choose from. It was once described as the most extraordinary district in the world! From here you travel up to the historic Medieval town of Chester for your 2 nights away from London.
Day 2
You will have some spare time in the morning to explore the ancient walls of Chester, the stunning cathedral with a history spanning almost 2000 years, built on an ancient druidic temple site, with the monastic cloisters present today dating from the late 11th century. The cathedral itself is a masterpiece of medieval architecture. In the late morning your day will take you into the heart of northern Wales, with a visit to the picture book medieval castle of Conwy, built by Edward 1 in the late 13th century. You can enjoy lunch here before exploring the dramatic mountain scenery of the Snowdonia National Park including the huge Dinorwic slate quarries, the Pass of Llanberis below Snowdon - Wales' highest peak and historic Trefriw - a spa town since Roman times. You return to Chester in the early evening.
Day 3
Immediately east of Chester lie the beautiful hills of the Peak District with historic spa towns very popular in Victorian times, including the stunning town of Buxton, famous for its mineral waters and its Opera House. From here you will explore some of the National Park and stop for lunch in one of the beautiful little villages. In the afternoon you can visit the famous mansion house and gardens of Chatsworth (April to Dec only), home to the Cavendish family, Duke of Devonshire. Chatsworth is often named the UK’s favourite country house and a visit will reveal some of the finest collections of furniture, priceless paintings, Old Master drawings and neo-classical sculptures. Finally you will return to London in the early evening.

I just finish my tour today and I can't wait to express my feeling about this fantastic tour. I was so lucky to be the only person in this tour and so lucky to meet Kevin, my driver and my dear friend. This gentleman took care of me during the whole tour just like I was a princess!!! He has a good taste of music, so you can enjoy your journey in the coach. He has a good sense of humor, so you can never get bored. He is a good photographer, so you can get the most beautiful photos in the world. He is a good friend, so you can share your story with him. After the tour, he even sent me home because he thought it would be dangerous for me to go home all by myself. I must say that he is a real gentleman and a best friend! If you are reading my review, trust me, this tour would be an amazing experience in your life! Kevin, love you! Rabbie's, love you!

We are South Africans, and we are compelled to share our experience in this wonderful area. Our Tour guide was an exceptional individual. Kevin Jee continually ensured our welfare and comfort ( We are retired ). He is a proud English citzen and continually informed us of your great country. His knowledge of the area and the country's history is exceptional. He cotinually provided information past and present of the areas we travelled through. He was kind enough to advise on the local Pubs. My mission was to visit as many Pubs as possible. rabbie"s can be proud of an employee like Kevin and the product they provide for the tourist. Despite travelling on the wettest day of the year for the midlands, our Heart of England trip was great. Our fearless guide Ambrose navigated the watery roads while we remained safe in the comfort of our coach. Ambrose was informative, entertaining and knowledgeable. He was flexible with the group's requests and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a fabulous trip!!
