We were honoured with another great award in the large tourism business category. The judges said "The Rabbie’s Promise to customers is to deliver a unique and memorable experience of Scotland. The promise is consolidated through the company’s passion for its staff and their development....."
We were announced Scottish Thistle winners of the inaugural Sustainable Tourism award at a glittering gala dinner on 26th October 2007 held at Edinburgh's International Conference Centre in front of 850 people.

Scottish Tourist Board 5 Star Award
We are Edinburgh's very first tour company to achieve this award in recognition of our high standards of care to you. We are now the only 5 Star tour company to guarantee you a small group experience with a maximum of 16 passengers because we believe the personal touch is best.
Green Tourism Award
We are very proud to be Scotland's first bus tour company to achieve a gold award in this world leading green accreditation scheme, demonstrating our high level commitment to protecting the environment and sustainable tourism practices.

Hospitality Assured is The Standard for Service and Business Excellence in hospitality, championed by the Hotel and Catering International Management Association (HCIMA) and supported by the British Hospitality Association (BHA).
The standard is fully endorsed by the British Quality Foundation and the Quality Scotland Foundation as meeting the criteria in the EFQM Excellence Model which is owned by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). It is the only standard within the Hospitality Industry that focuses on the customer experience.
The process for achieving Hospitality Assured recognition is rigorous. It takes into account customer opinion and considers all the aspects of service from the customers' point of view. This is an accreditation, which is not achieved easily. First awarded this in 2003 in recognition that we invest time and money in developing our people so they remain motivated and want to give you a fantastic experience all the time - our tour guides are hand picked for their ability to look after you.
Keep Edinburgh Clean Award
Another environmental excellence award this time awarded for what we do in and around our Edinburgh headquarters. For example in May 2007 all the staff got together to clear out debris from a stretch of the local river - the Water of Leith - leaving it better for the residents of the city.
Tourism Innovation Award
