The longest day the 21st June has just passed heralding the arrival of summer. Yeh! Long days and lots of sunshine, in between the rain showers! We welcome new starts Audrey, Al, Barney, Doug, Emily, Euan, James, Michael, Neil, Neal, Sarah, and Stewart to our driving/guide stable and Vahri and Peter to our in house sales team. Additionally we welcome Maria to assist in Gary in IT , and Yvonne who is our new business development manager. Our operations team are flat out this summer with a fleet of 25 buses to look after as well as an incredible 37 driver/guides, so they too have a new assistant, Shannon, to help maintain the vehicles to the standards you expect from us. Our first ever trip in Ireland this May has received very positive feedback. Laura in our sales team hopped aboard, and has returned to the office with rave reviews. For anyone thinking of joining this tour or any others, on a daily basis we receive photos from lots of passengers eager to share their own experiences with you. The forum is a fantastic way to stay in contact with fellow adventurers and to be inspired by the beauty and majesty of Scotland. We even have a monthly bottle of whisky to win for the best photo of the month. Award News Update Rabbie’s has been re-accredited with the Big Tick by UK Business in the Community for our Climate change programme reducing our customers’ carbon footprint whilst travelling with us, as well as engaging everyone at Rabbie’s around our Sustainable and Responsible tourism policies. Having won the European mantle as “Outstanding example” of a Sustainable and Responsible tour operator we will be entering the world awards very soon. |
