About Us:
Rabbie’s Trail Burners was established in February
1993 as a minicoach tour business taking independent
minded travellers on driver/guided tours to the Scottish
Highlands and Islands. It is the original and first
small group tour company to operate out of Edinburgh.
It is also Edinburgh's first 5 star tour company as
graded by VisitScotland, and the ONLY ONE to guarantee
that our passengers travel in a small group. We operate
16 seat minicoaches, because we believe that with larger
groups you lose the personal touch that smaller groups
can have. It also means we can stop in places and take
routes that regular coach tours cannot.
We believe in getting people off the beaten track and
off the bus as much as possible, so our passengers can
get a real feel for Scotland come rain, hail or shine.
Most of our tours incorporate nature trail walks suitable
for virtually all people, young and old, so that the
magnificent scenery of our country does not just pass
them by through the coach window.
Rabbie's Trail Burners has won numerous awards and is seeking motivated people to join in its success. Recently accredited as Hospitality Assured it is also recognised as an Investor
in People and is committed to equal opportunities for
all. It has a strong reputation for its Customer Care(VisitScotland 5 star operator and finalist in the 2007 Scottish Thistle Customer Care awards), and Responsible Tourism practices. Rabbie's is a Green Tourism Business Scheme Gold award winner awards and winner of the inaugural 2007 Scottish Thistle Sustainable Tourism award. In 2008 Rabbie's won the Scottish Thistle award for People Development in the large tourism business category, underlying our commitment to fully training our people so that their skills are continuously developed to provide unique and memorable experiences that last a lifetime. In 2009 we were winner of the VIBES (Vision in Business for the Environment Scotland) award and double Scottish Thistle Award winners - The Extra Mile Award for Customer Care Award and Tour Operator Programme of the Year.
